Partisan Gallery is pleased to present COLORS, a lighting by Jordan Stein.
Ankle-high fluorescent tubes line the entire perimeter of the apartment-turned-gallery, tracing the edges of the physical space with a cool upward glow. A manic inversion of the habitually warm lighting conditions of Partisan Gallery, COLORS explores the threshold between minimal and maximal illumination, installation, and interference.
Stein received his MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2005 and has recently shown work at Steven Wolf Fine Arts, DUMBO Arts Center, and Kunst und Ausstellungshalle, Bonn, Germany.
An edition to accompany Colors will be available for purchase.
